Lady Accidentally Raises Panther Believing It’s a Kitten

An amazing and astounding tale started in a little, quiet village tucked away in the countryside when Jane, a kindhearted woman, mistakenly took in what she believed to be a stray kitten. Jane heard a few meows from a nearby bush one wet evening as she was making her way home from the market. When she got close, she noticed a small, black bundle of fur trembling in the cold. Its glossy black fur appeared to get denser and shinier every day, and its once-small and delicate paws had grown enormous and muscular. In addition, Shadow showed a rather voracious appetite, eating considerably more than a domestic kitten should.

As Shadow developed, its extreme playfulness showed itself in its frequent overturning of furniture with its strong leaps and unintentional scratching of Jane with its sharp claws. Jane soon discovered that her once-cute kitten was behaving differently than a typical home pet. Jane, worried but not knowing the whole story, thought Shadow was just a big breed of cat and took good care of it.

One day, a neighbour came to see Jane while Shadow was relaxing in the yard.
