A local man named Alex found himself in an unusual predicament on a rainy afternoon. Alex was quick to offer a towel, which he wrapped around the kitten and used to dry it off. The poor thing was still shivering, but it seemed to be getting better in Alex’s arms and the warmth of the towel.
Alex checked on the kitten to make sure it was alright before taking it to a nearby vet facility to make sure it got the treatment it need. After examining the kitten, the veterinarian concluded that, because of Alex’s prompt rescue, it was in good health despite its trauma. While acknowledging that the kitten might not have had much longer to live if left in the rising water, the veterinarian praised Alex for his courageous acts.
